Just returned from a festive 3 course carvery. From the moment we arrived the welcome on the door was warm and friendly. We were looked after by Kez and her service and attention to us was outstanding. It made our Christmas family get together extra special, thank you! X

6 of our group of 7 had the carvery, meat portions were cut unevenly so some slices were smaller than others, turkey was just OK but beef was delicious, oven baked potatoes were chewy, like eating plastic, and the stuffing was awful, consistency like polenta and no taste, I've had better from lidl. Cauliflowers cheese was amazing, kids loved it too, and the rest of the veggies were good too. Very friendly and helpful staff, made us feel very welcome. Shame though about the "kid's corner", with a basic bead on rails table surrounded by half a dozen toy machines (a claw machine, a toy vending machine, a lollipop machine, a couple of sweet dispensers and two capsule dispensers). Of course they're all RIGHT by the toilets, so as soon as the kids see them it's pandemonium and unless you're willing to spend spend spend you can say goodby to a peaceful meal. Which I expect is the point, but doesn't make me want to go here again

We recently visited The Running Hare for a bite to eat and had a really enjoyable experience. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the team and offered the choice of where we’d like to sit, which was a nice touch and made us feel relaxed straight away. After having a look through the menu, which had a good variety of options, we decided on the carvery and the ultimate Southern fried chicken burger. The burger came out after a short wait and looked great. It was well presented and hit the spot. We then headed up for the carvery, which had a great selection of meats including beef, turkey, and gammon. There was also a generous variety of vegetables to choose from, including different types of potatoes, which is always a win. Everything was topped off with plenty of gravy and a good choice of sauces on offer. All in all, it was a good visit with tasty food and a welcoming, friendly team. I would happily return for another meal.

The place was busy, considering the size of it, and considering we had popped into two other local pubs which we decided against beforehand. The staff were welcoming and the whole place was clean. The menu was decent, although much of what i would have chosen appeared to be unavailable on Saturdays. We ended up both having the medium carvery, which was more than enough and absolutely delicious. We can't wait to return with our sons, as they would love it too. The desserts looked awesome and I'm sure my boys will sample them next time. Great value for money too.

We had pre-booked but when we arrived our table was not quite ready so we were politely asked to wait in a seating area. We only waited around 10 minutes before being shown to our table. There were 6 of us & we all had Carvery, it was hot, beautifully cooked & presented with plenty of choice of meat, veg & sauces. Such good value as those in our party with smaller appetites were able to have a small plate while the medium plate was fine for the rest of us. Staff were all friendly & helpful despite how busy it was so 6 very happy customers, can't wait to go again.

Went for a last minute meal. Just Had a Super Salad Bowl and it was delicious. The price was ok. Sophie served us in this occasion and she was very helpful and friendly :)

Dropped in to use the Osprey charger and have some dinner. Opted for the carvery, it was nice and good value at £10. They only have 1 X CCS so it can get busy. Once the charger was free I plugged in and 50Kw was provided. Pub has seating outside and inside.
