   Came down to the white lion last Tuesday And was having a great time first time there with my dad and his friends playing pool and the lady behind the bar was lovely but I disappeared for 5min came back and the pool cues were gone I asked the landlord as he was there and he said there in a bush outside get them yourself. I was disappointed with the fact our evening had come to an end (last orders was called aswell) but the landlord was very rude towards us for no reason. I would like to go back because it’s a lovely environment. But I’m not comfortable with going back now. Sorry

   I visited about midday and there waa hardly any food available. I got two small plates and they were both awful..tasted like frozen supermarket food heated up in the oven. The service was not friendly. On a positive note the pub was clean and wine was good, well priced.

   We called in to this pub en route to somewhere else and I have to say that the staff were so friendly, I’ve honestly never felt so welcomed to a pub we haven’t visited before. The food and service was also excellent, they couldn’t do enough for two hungry and tired strangers!! Highly recommend!! Well done all of you.
