We stayed overnight in there car park in a motorhome very quiet after 10.30pm started the get road noise about 7ish in the morning Staff and regulars very friendly,dog friendly Definitely stay here again
Great pub. I only get to visit occasionally, but enjoy it every time. Superb ale
We only had one drink and ate from the fish and chip van in attendance. The pub is very pleasant and had a good atmosphere. It was fairly busy inside for 5pm on a Thursday. We paid £15 for a pint of cider, a pint of later, a pint of ale and a pint of lime and soda. My ale was lovely. The food was great, tasty and good portion sizes. We paid £40 and fed four adults with some sides of peas and sauce. Overall a really nice experience and we will go back.
To the best of my knowledge, the pub itself doesn't serve food, however, there's a pizza van in the car park on Thursdays and a fish and chip van (which also serves burgers) on Fridays. You're welcome to bring food from these vans into the pub to enjoy with a beer. It's a lovely, traditional, and friendly pub.
