Looks a nice pub with food. The beer selection is great as I only popped in for a quick drink.
I attended a 60th Birthday Party at the Boot & Ship for the first time with my Mrs on the 8th Oct 2023 - a buffet had been put on by the ladlady which was plentyful with a large selection of excellent quality food & the drinks were very reasonably priced - the bar staff were really lovely & a karaoke had been organised which was equally as awesome - we had such a wonderful time there that we didn't want to go home, we'll definitely be returning for further visits.

It's a work in progress. There needs to be some separation between the bar and the lounge. Strong language carries quite a way, it may be a way of life to some but not all. The bar offerings are basic, nothing exciting, some gin cocktails could help bring more couples in, perhaps. It has improved internally, a long overdue clean-up and decorated well. It shows promise and could be a nice pub, as it was many years ago.
