   Booked in for service. Experienced reduced fuel economy since return. Had time today to get back into another garage. And it turns out they didnt even replace my air filter which I paid for as part of the service

   Very disappointed. My mother had a flat tyre dropping her grandson at school. She left the vehicle all day to have a new one fitted. Upon collection was told her wheel alignment (tracking) had been done aswell at a charge of 30 pound. My issue is the tracking couldn't possibly have been done as no other wheel trims had been removed from the vehicle. This is s must when tracking vehicles with wheel trims fitted. On inspection of the track rod ends it is clear no spanner or mould grips have been in contact with them. I have been in the trade for 20 plus years and know exactly how they work. I know it only £30 but it was my mother's £30 not theirs. Be very careful when they try to sell you extras.

   Excellent service here. Had the car serviced, new tyres (on two cars full sets), puncture repairs the lot. The guys who run this branch are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommend them to anyone who asks which is the best garage for tyres and servicing.

   Just had 2 Continental Sport Contact 7 fitted to my mk8 golf R by the lads at Formula one Ashton-in-Makerfield. Really happy with the quality of service they were really careful with my alloy wheels not to scratch them. looking forward to my next visit. it takes the worry out of some one working on your car when you know your going to get quality service Thanks to all at Formula one Ashton-in-Makerfield

   Great lads at Ashton in Makerfield branch, very polite, smiling and welcoming. Makes a change from the usual grumpy mechanics. Explained fully about advisories on MOT. Lovely bright & clean reception and waiting/viewing room. Plenty of car park spaces. Including several disabled bays. I’ll be coming back here for sure.

   Had an issue with my front passport tyre, I thought it was a puncher. I turned up on Sunday morning and the staff saw to me right away. Waited about 30 minutes tyre fixed, not a puncher but a valve issue. Great friendly staff speedy repair and good to know it’s open 7 days a week. Definitely recommend going here for repairs.
