Really smashing old fashioned hardware store which are sadly disappearing rapidly. Out of two unusual requests did get sorted with one! Extremely friendly advice from long standing employee Darren who was really helpful. Don't let this little gem disappear, pay them a visit, support them & spend a few Bob!

Very good old fashioned hardware shop, not another in the area, anything and everything can be got to do with hard we're, screws gardening birdfood, seeds, fire irons, washing lines you name it they can get it,
Whenever I've been doing a house project and I've needed that extra screw or extra length of pipe- they ALWAYS have whatever I need. They have never let me down- it's an Aladdins cave of hardware supplies.- Just brilliant and there's nothing like this store anywhere! Last week I went down there for 2 screws! Sure- I could have driven 5 miles to Crystal Peaks, and got stuck in traffic, used half gallon of petrol and bought a pack of thirty screws (28 of which I don't need) Or I can walk to French's , with my dog, and ask for exactly what I need. Awesome!
This very traditional Hardware shop literally sells everything and it's considerably cheaper than the big department stores near Crystal Peaks. Go check it out! Shop closes from 1pm to 2pm for dinner on a daily basis.
