“I wanted a live edge slab for a coffee table I'm making. I searched around and contacted a few companies. Chris at the Sheffield Timber Company got back to me very quickly and was very knowledgeable. I went down a couple of days later, the slabs we had discussed were ready to look at and he also showed me around the other stock and we had a good chat about timber, work and projects. The piece I chose needed cutting down which was done straight away and the price was very reasonable, it's spot on for what I need. I will definitely be going again.”

“My front upvc door mechanism failed. I know nothing about this sort of thing and after being let down by two locksmiths and another quoting me over £300 i thought i'd have a go myself. So i dismantled it all (8 screws), found this store online and visited them taking all the bits with me. They replaced the broken part for me and within 30 mins my front door was working perfectly again. Amazing service and I totally reccomend them and will use them again. Very happy. :)”

“Matt was very professional whilst dealing with the customer in front of me but maintained an overview of the shop to ensure I wasn’t waiting too long and apologised whilst he summoned another staff member. He was friendly and approachable. I was served by another staff member (didn’t get his name, sorry) who was equally as friendly and helpful. I observed a number of other customers come into the store and found a few quite abrupt/rude with the staff - good to see lots of patience from behind the counter. Shooting clothing workweek Inc high vis. Excellent range of tools fixtures and fittings. Want one washer can buy it here. Plumbing,paint, and farm hardware. There is also wood and garden fittings outside. Worth a stop when passing bye.”
