   We've lost a number of house keys over the last year and they were also those crazy expensive coded keys that cost £30 per key to cut - also a circa 25 year old barrel so decided to just replace the entire barrel instead so that better value keys could be obtained. Ordered a new more convenient thumb twist locking barrel and 10 keys from GB DIY Store. Arrived spot on perfectly to spec and I fitted new barrel in 5 minutes - works like a dream. Utterly brilliant service and backup - Special mention to Taylor at GB DIY for his support/advice.

   Ordered a UPVC Door handle as my old one the handle was falling off and sprung cassete wasn’t returning handles to 90c. Went around to all the Multi-national DIY stores, couldn’t find any with the right size fixing centres (240mm) some telling me they couldn’t even order them in. A quick search online and I found GB DIY, who made understanding each product they had to offer easy and I found the handle I was after. Furthermore, they offer a 3pm same day dispatch and I thought I missed the cut off as I placed my order at 3.02pm. I did opt for the extra “1 working day delivery” when checking out and to my pleasant suprise the handle came the very next day. Handle was easy to fit and came with 2 different size fixing screws to account for door thickness. Could not be happier and grateful for their easy and speedy service. My new go to for all DIY jobs!

   My front upvc door mechanism failed. I know nothing about this sort of thing and after being let down by two locksmiths and another quoting me over £300 i thought i'd have a go myself. So i dismantled it all (8 screws), found this store online and visited them taking all the bits with me. They replaced the broken part for me and within 30 mins my front door was working perfectly again. Amazing service and I totally reccomend them and will use them again. Very happy. :)

   Edited as they did get in touch and were very good to get the issue corrected. Over Xmas so delivery times affected. Turned out the product was correct but one end ticker than the other maybe due to the end of a run. Anyway all good.
