   Very disappointed with the service. Arrived at Building Plastics Direct in Barnsley at 11:50am on Saturday, only to be refused service because staff were finishing their shift – despite the store being advertised as open till 12:00. I urgently needed EPDM roof membrane and other roofing components later, with over £1000 ready to spend. Heavy rain was forecast and the roof was left unfinished because of this refusal! What a change from a few years ago when the owner ran it – it used to be a fantastic place. Now, customer service is appalling, with unhelpful staff more focused on clocking off than helping customers and the business. Thankfully, I took my money elsewhere and received excellent service. I will not be returning here again.

   Ordered ceiling panels came damaged and discoloured manager refused to replace said we’ve left them in sunlight which we didn’t they were stored in a shed for 1 hr max then opened to use and fit, when opened they were different colours, explained this to staff and they refused replacement. Spent £400+ on plastics from this company poor quality materials would not return.

   Ordered item via Amazon, box arrived direct from them, intact & undamaged, yet the tin inside looked like it had been ran over. Emails and photos sent, phoned twice, but generally they are not interested.

   I've bought polycarbonate from a well known supplier online. But found this supplier and was well impressed with the product and price. My only complaint is that the delivery was for 4mt.x 2.2mt polycarbonate sheets and these were delivered well wrapped and protected.But...there was only I man and I had to help and at the time I was on crutches awaiting a hip replacement. If I didn't help the driver was going to take it back. I fell during the process.
