The food is real quality food, however the portions are quite small for the price and the price is quite high for the heritage of food that you would normally expect. I understand that this is a more elevated Greek food experience but personally I think the quality of Greek food comes from its honest roots and if you embellish it then you actually diminish its quality. Just a minor nit-pick on my part. The service was great, really attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere and venue is lovely though doesn't really 'feel' Greek inside. Recommend a visit but only if you're really in the mood for a slightly more expensive and fancier experience. You wont get the more honest Greek food here, it will be 'elevated'

Best meal of my life. Pita was amazingly seasoned and soft. Dips outstanding - I loved the smokey aubergine one. We then went for the croquettes (best beef ever), tacos and the filo feta (truly exceptional). Desserts were also stunning - tiramichoux was light yet full of flavour and coffee, while the almond cake was decadent and rich. Β£60 per person (starters, mezze, main, desserts, coffee and service charge).

The food was absolutely incredible! We loved every dish! The atmosphere was also really nice, the only thing I would say is that the service could have been slightly better. More attentive and a bit quicker to begin with.

A Hidden Gem – Absolutely Incredible! I can’t believe what an amazing surprise Theion turned out to be! From the outside, the entrance is modestβ€”but once you step inside, it’s like being transported to a stunning Greek oasis. The decor is absolutely beautiful, stylish and elegant, with every detail thoughtfully done. The food? Incredible. Every dish was presented like a work of art and tasted even better. Authentic, vibrant Greek flavours that truly impressed me. I also had the Greek Garden cocktail and it was absolutely deliciousβ€”refreshing and unique. On top of all that, the service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, this place should have a long waiting list to get inβ€”it’s that good. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! Thank you Theion!

Staff were warm and welcoming. We ate early together with two other tables so the atmosphere was lacking. When more tables are full, I'm sure the atmosphere would be great. Decorated in a modern way, it was a nice place to eat. The bread basket was great. My wife ate the slow cooked lamb and loved it. I had the cretean pasta. It was great, but it needed a side salad to cut through the richness. For me, the portion size was on the small side. Olives, bread baskets, two mains, two mains, two glasses of wine, and a coffee were Β£75. The coffee is served in a cup without a handle, not good if the coffee is hot

Not the usual/common Greek restaurant that you may already been in the UK. The menu is familiar with most of the Greek flavours , on the other hand the plate presentation is unusual and that may surprise you on a good way. Big wine list to choose from. Friendly staff , warm atmosphere. Worth visiting , recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed an indulgent lunch here. Excellent, really high quality food, which is definitely not your traditional Greek fayre. The restaurant interior is unique and beautifully presented. Great service.

Lovey early dinner meal, great light starter of tazitiki and pitta highly recommend. Mains were tasty and filling had the chicken and slow cooked lamb. Great setting and ambiance one of the best in Guildford for sure. Would recommend and come back!

The starters here are amazing. Would highly recommend: zucchini balls, pitta and range of dips, saganaki. For mains: The slow cooked beef was tender, the octopus was great and so was the king prawn linguine. This place is fantastic for food, you have to check it out. The only drawbacks of our most recent visit was the limited choice of wine and the service wasn’t the best it’s ever been there. Nonetheless a must visit!
