    Had a great customer experience. The battery light on my Ford Transit camper van was on suggesting an alternator fault. Rang up at 9-00am spoke to Mike (top bloke) Mike explained it may be other issues but suggested I take the van in so they could diagnose the issue. Dropped van off at 10-30 picked it up repaired van at 3-30. Cost half of what I had been quoted for a replacement alternator. Do not hesitate to use Advanced Engineering

    Prompt, efficient, value for money service. Traced a lighting fault on my camping trailor, replaced connector, checked the car's electrics £49 incl vat. Used before. Will use again. NB They are not open on a Saturday.

    Excellent service; great attitude; really helpful. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the price was very fair, too. The poor reviews about this garage are not what I experienced; Advanced Engineering was recommended to me by the garage I normally use, and it will be somewhere I will return to, if I need any electrical work carrying out on my car.

    Avoid like the plague!! James the owner has sever megalomania or mental issues. Both my sister and I (unknown to either of us) put our cars in for work with this garage. He repeatedly walks away from you mid conversation. Refused to give a quotation/price for how much the work would cost. He made us order the parts needed ourselves. When both of us ordered the parts (a diesel pump and a DPF filter) from suppliers we found online both suppliers said "O Advanced Auto Electrics I know them, mine even said I have a delivery going there tomorrow I'll throw it on the lorry" so why didn't he order it for me?? So now my repair is not covered by a warranty as I ordered the part myself. He then tried to make me feel guilty for wasting his time when the work took days to complete and he ended up charging me the same as a Vauxhall garage when they would have completed it in 2 days. When I went to collect the car it was not ready, I had to call him daily to chase him up. The NIGHTMARE garage you see on the TV, trust me avoid! He knows what he is doing but has his head stuck up his ###. Shame really as if he sorted out his attitude problems he would have a great garage. He told me my car had another issue at the time and if he had been polite, sat still for five minutes and said £150 for this fix, £400 for both to be fixed I would have said with a smile please fix both but because he walked away, was rude, pretended he was god he will now never get any more business from me and I will be telling everyone never to use him.
