   Used National tyres autocentre (halfords) for the first time for my MOT and was impressed. All very straight forward , easy to book in online, they were efficient and called me as soon as the test was done to say it had passed with some advisories. Staff were professional and efficient it was all very seamless from start to finish, would definitely recommend.

   Worst customer service anywhere. Called in Monday explained I needed the car Wednesday by 3, told they could order a tyre and fit it Wednesday early afternoon. Dropped car down Wednesday and told they can't, when I questioned it basically told I'm a Lier as they wouldn't have said that. Argued and got told to go elsewhere because they didn't have time for me

   I had the pleasure of having an MOT performed by Ed who was very friendly and professional. He failed my car but very fairly and he did explain every aspect of the process. However, I feel that the Halfords takeover is having a negative effect on the overall experience. The prices for repair sadly make NT uncompetitive on their pricing against local competitors. Had the pricing for my work been more reasonable, I would have felt very confident in letting this centre carry out the work. This is only my opinion based upon my interaction with the tester and the young lady on reception when I returned for my retest.
