   Absolutely shocking, dropped car off on time for a full MOT and service. Had a call 30 minutes later to say they couldn’t open the car so my partner talked them through how to open the car manually as the fob didn’t work, the girl on the phone clearly couldn’t take instructions so my partner had to then run down to show them - he was there within 5 minutes. Once there they said they managed to open the door but couldn’t turn the car on (working with cars daily you would think that they could manually turn a car on with a car key, but, no!) my partner again showed them how to turn the car on to then be told ‘well it has gone past your slot time now so we can’t do it’. Absolute joke! If you want to get your car looked at by people who know how to actually turn a car on, don’t bother going here!

   Loved the convenience of booking my own slot for a repair at my local Halfords. Strolled off with my book for a coffee. Less than half an hour later, got the call to pick it up. So easy. But what I loved the most, was knowing, there was a fixed price, and even though I'm a women who has no clue about engines, I get the same value for money as any man. Very good service, oh and as a member of Halfords Motoring club ( cost me £5 to join) I got 5% off all parts and service charge. Zen repairs for women !

   Had a service and mot on my electric vehicle. Passed with no advisories. Drove home ok. The next time I tried to start it it wouldn’t go. Never had a problem with this car before. Rang Halfords who deny all responsibility and say it’s just a coincidence. The person I spoke to in the phone was quite rude and after I was put in to the manager I could hear her swearing very loudly in the background. Absolutely terrible experience. I can’t select zero starts so I have had to apply one but it’s completely undeserved.

   Absolutely fab garage! Really looked after my son and I when I needed a tyre fitting. Did the job straight away so we weren’t stuck without the car. Really appreciate your help and professionalism. Especially Michael and David.

   Happy to take payment. Arrived at appointment no tyres. LIED to saying tyres would be delivered next day (a Sunday) and to arrive at 10am for fitment. Still no tyres and no response to complaint. AVOID!

   AWFUL AVOID at all costs!! terrible service from start to finish, dont believe they are genuine or fair. I was told work needed doing and felt pressured so agreed as i was told I'd be "hard pushed to find it cheaper" it was surprising anyway that the car failed as I had the car serviced and the brakes checked and worked on prior to MOT and was told car was in very good condition. something didn't feel right so checked with other garages and they said what I had been charged was a disgrace, was told upon collection, after paying that the brakes they had worked on and charged approx £180 probably wouldn't make it through the next MOT so what had I paid for? this wasn't said before I paid. ( out of curiosity asked how much it would have cost to have brakes replaced on a fiat panda £700 apparently) I raised a complaint with halfords and they said they investigated and nothing was wrong. they said they charge £95 and hour labour. that's why it came to £180 plus the MOT cost. basically they don't care, don't call back when they say they will and don't reply to emails promptly. Read other reviews too I'm not the first and won't be the last. Once they have your money they don't care. (was offered £40 halfords vouchers)

   Booked an MOT on-line, the system was simple to use and I was offered a slot the next afternoon. I arrived early and the staff were very helpful. I received a text 35 minutes later saying the MOT was complete. Can't fault the systems or the service. Very happy with the process and would recommend Halfords.
