   Amazing Service from Stephanie & Jess! We popped in to look for a bike for our 4 year old son for Christmas, and Stephanie and Jess were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble! They were friendly, patient, and really knew their stuff. They took the time to help us choose the perfect bike, explaining everything clearly and making the whole experience so easy. Thank you both for making what could’ve been stressful feel super simple.

Found everything I needed in stock, and the staff were absolutely brilliant: super pleasant, knowledgeable, and happy to advise without any pressure. Made the whole trip quick and enjoyable.    UPDATE; I followed through with Halfords and received a complaint reference 27465595, I was informed somebody would contact me to try and resolve the issue. There has been no contact. I even spoke again with staff from the Southport and explained I have more vehicles that need equipping. I left my details and guess what? There has been no contact. This company could not care less, I would avoid wasting your time and find an alternative. Original review; We’ve always bought our dash cams from Halfords for our commercial vehicles and usually pay the extra £55 for fitting, which has always been fine — until today. We booked a van in for a fitting and mentioned we might be slightly delayed. The colleague assured us this “wouldn’t be a problem.” We arrived at 2:15 pm (for a 2:00 pm appointment) and were told it would take around 45 mins, which was fine, so we went for a coffee. When we returned, we were told the technician had started the fitting but it would take another hour due to delays. However, this turned out to be false, the technician hadn’t even started. There was no communication from the store during this time, and when I spoke to the manager, he offered no help, instead, she blamed us for being 15 minutes late and said we could either wait or get a refund. For a company we’ve used multiple times (this would have been our third dash cam fitting), this was really disappointing. A simple gesture to show our custom is valued would have gone a long way. Sadly, this visit has made us reconsider using Halfords for the future.

   My car headlight alert came on at 6pm Friday evening and needed to be changed.. I was visiting family early on Saturday which involved motorway travel. I was worried to drive without my light and if the other went out. I looked on line and Halfords who seemed to still fit there and then on a Friday. Evening I rushed down and was greeted with a can do attitude which was great recommendation on offers for both head light bulbs which basically gave me free fitting and good quality bulbs they promoted a further offer with more discount . A young man fitted the bulbs in 15 mins all sorted panic over .. excellent service and value for money thank you

   I wanted dashcams fitting to both my company and personal car and was given great advice on how I could buy one main dashcam and have the second car just fitted with the wiring when I spoke to the guy on the counter. I bought one ‘Nextbase 622GW Front & Rear Dash Cam Bundle with Fitting’ for my own car and and just the fitting kit and the rear camera for my company car, which came out at a very reasonable price. I booked both cars in the following Saturday and the work was done really well buy helpful and knowledgeable staff. A small technical issue was resolved very competently and quickly too. It took a couple of hours per car to fit, so I sat in the café in Tesco opposite, which was no hardship. If I'd have wanted something more simple, i.e. one car, I would have opted for home fitting but I needed to make sure both cars were done correctly. All-in-all, I’m extremely happy with the whole experience. No I just hope I never need the think now ;o)

   Fantastic service. Fitter, Bailey, was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. No upselling - tested my Zafira battery, shared honest assessment and left decision to me - then fitted a new battery which I guessed would be required as current one 11 years old, with time and care in 10 minutes. Front desk could not be more helpful too. A pleasure to give my custom, courteous and professional and cheapest in the area to boot. Highly recommended .
