Have been using Becketts for decades. Never let down they always have what I need and it’s nice to have an excellent local hardware shop for my DIY needs

I'm a keen diy'er, so when I moved into my house around the corner I bought nearly all my tools from here. 21yrs later and I am still using some of them, (and they haven't been used lightly). Always friendly polite and helpful, even sold me the last box of christmas tree lights, he had put away for himself, because mine had packed in. Old school values without needing "likes"or something in repayment.

Fantastic store.. popped in needing a couple of bolts not a huge trade bag of a thousand... I believe the store owner served me and was ever so helpful and polite.. thank you so much. Would highly recommend this store...a real gem.

A very welcoming traditional hardware store, established in 1955. Nothing is too much trouble for them- if they haven’t got it, they’ll try to get it for you.

Awesome little DIY shop. If you need something standard or a bit more unusual bit of kit they are pretty much guaranteed to have it and at a great price. Good advice on how the different products work. Never been disappointed coming here for tools or other DIY bits n bobs.

Popular hardware store, very friendly and helpful staff. Sells electrical sockets, wires, fuses, screws, ect, gardening equipment spades, Fork's, grass seeds, burny bins, ect, decorating equipment, cleaning products, sweeping brushes, mops, buckets, bowls ect, Rotary lines, line poles. They Cut keys and cut wood on site. They provide much much more all at reasonable prices. You don't have to buy packs of things, you can buy what you need, one screw or one plank of wood. They will go out of their way to get what you need.

Lovely staff, fast, efficient and not overpriced. Excepts card or cash, really good hardware store, like a tiny version of b&a. I went for keys cutting and got 6 plus key rings for £20. Can't complain and will always try and use local business where possible.
