I was served by the lovely Daniela today, I had a transaction issues with my bank card and Danielle was soooo helpful, non assuming (I’m broke) and help me get to the bottom of this issue. I left belly full, tipsy and happy. I’d vouch for Danielle any day ❤️
I had an amazing experience at Nando’s thanks to Vinnie! From the moment I walked in, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He made sure everything was perfect – checking in during the meal, recommending great menu items, and even making sure our order came out just right. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great customer experience. It’s rare to see service with such a personal touch. Big thanks to the team – especially Vinnie– for making our visit so enjoyable.
The chicken wings were burnt and bitter. The liver and sauce didn’t go together at all — nothing like other Nandol branches. When a staff member asked how the food was, she didn’t wait for my answer and just said “Okay!” and walked off. Completely dismissive. I had to call the manager to get a replacement, which was only slightly better. Terrible food. Poor service. Won’t be coming back to this location.
I dined in with a friend and we often come here to enjoy the Nando's meal. Although food weren't up to the standards at first, we were immediately taken over by a member of staff named Kowsi who provided excellent customer service. If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't return again. Excellent service Kowsi. We really enjoyed your service you have provided us with.
My boneless thighs were cooked to perfection. Love that you could grab more peri salt by the drinks. The music was a vibe. My bestie really enjoyed the chilli bites (pickled jalapeño slices I believe) but if you don’t want too much salt, remove the peri salt option. The charred corn side was delicious. My friend wanted corn on the cob but was pleasantly surprised with this option - bravo! Pricing is a bit cheeky! Perinaise is now £1 per tub but mayo in a tub is free… come on guys. Food could have been slightly hotter in temperature but that’s just my preference. Overall the staff were lovely, table was clean and the ambience was great. I think if you lower the prices slightly and bring the food out very hot and fresh … you’ll get 5/5 every time!
Super friendly staff, well prepared food and the restaurant has a really nice, laid back atmosphere.
Nice Nandos, went in on a Thursday lunchtime around 12pm there were around 5 other tables with people when we first got there, so fairly quiet, by the time we left at 1pm it was packed. We had a boneless share plate which consisted of a butterfly chicken breast and 4 boneless chicken thighs, we opted for lemon and herb and the 4 sides which were corn on the cob, chips and garlic bread, plus two bottomless drinks. Everything was cooked perfectly and plenty of sauces were available.
Ate around 2:40 just after school kids were leaving so it was nice and chill post Lunch rush. The food came out super fast and tasted good. Sagres is a tasty tasty beer. Restaurant was tidy and I appreciated the interior design of this location. I just wish Nandos was a tad cheaper for how simple these dishes are.
£15 for the smallest chicken breast. Half of it was missing as shown in the picture. I raised this with staff and she was not helpful. "It's where it's been cut from the leg. If you put them together you can see". What!? First I suggest when a customer complains, you take them seriously, not walk off smirking and 3, your chicken comes in pre cooked in bags, they aren't necessarily from the same bird! I ordered chicken, not a chick. The quality of service and food over the years has declined and prices have gone up a lot and they seem complacent these days. Lady in photo is lady I spoke to who just shrugged, laughed and walked away.
Dirty plates and one female staff walking around seating people was to busy to acknowledge me although she said she would be over In 2 minutes it’s second time I had this experience with that staff member since the East Croydon branch opened. I found the layout of the restaurant a nuisance to navigate it not open enough and The over the top covid restrictions were … just a big exaggeration!! The plus points the other members of staff wearing the uniform were friendly courteous - the only other company is the vegan plant based menu was a joke - so I let my children eat and I popped over to Pret next door for some quality vegan food
