Waited twice as long as I was originally told it was going to take. I wouldn't have minded apart from the same issue happening 3 days later. Rang them and got told I could bring it back in a week, needless to say I didn't bother, took it to another garage and they sorted it in 2 days.
Fastlane Autocare work out of the same forecourt as Happy Camper, and all services supplied by them were sorted though Fastlane, so I can only assume they are the same company, in which case I would suggest you avoid them. Had a fault on a diesel heater in our camper. It looked like a heater plug issue according to the fault code on the heater control panel, so they agreed to sort it for 330 quid. They allegedly replaced the heater plug - an item that normally costs about 12 quid - but the fault remained. After charging me the full amount despite not actually repairing the fault, they suggested a replacement diesel heater at a cost of over a grand. We declined. When I eventually got the invoice, they had charged me 66 quid for the heater plug. Make of that what you will.
Pleasant enough experience. Booked in through black circle, who messed me around changing garages multiple times. Ended up here and wasn’t thrilled due to previous reviews. There was an admin error somewhere and we both have different days and they booked me in there and then and changed 2 tyres within 90 mins, sat and waited inside which was clean. I can see why some reviews are negative, the sales team are clearly doing their jobs by being told to price jobs up at the price at a premium rate (I heard 759 for a thermostat change)! So I would advise to always query your prices if you find it too high, but that’s sales so? Just do your homework.
If you want ripping this the place to go £942 for an ecu diagnostics to find out they hadn’t even tested it changed me £844 for a new wiring loom to find out they hadn’t touched that also 100% unprofessional and full of lies I’m now proceeding with legal action against them
Excellent customer service over the phones, in the reception and from the mobile mechanic too. Always manage to fit me in even at short notice.
