I have been going on Tuesday for community fridge. I witnessed people pushing , jumping the queue to get in for free food. Every time I visited , I came out feeling worthless and uncomfortable . Volunteers show unconscious bias and I see it the way they look at me. Please show kindness and not judge someone for the way they appear. I go to other community fridge and volunteers are so lovely.

Lovely community space. I have a local book club and they allowed us to do our meet-up there. The staff is lovely and very welcoming as well. All our members loved the place and will repeat. They had an option of vegan and gluten-free cake and dairy free milk which was a bonus. Haven’t tried the food but may do soon.

Been here multiple times on a Friday or Saturday morning/afternoon and it's a very friendly place with great food, the cakes are also delicious with a cup of tea.

Talking Tree is such a great community space helping people learn how to live more sustainably. I've learnt how to service my bicycle at the bike repair workshop, picked up new reading recommendations, learnt how to make eco-cleaning products, and devoured lots of delicious veggie soups and cakes. I've now become a volunteer and help organise events and displays for Great Big Green Week. Everyone is so friendly.

The Talking Tree Cafe is a great place for a coffee and snack (cake). The staff are really friendly and want to know about you as a person. So if Environmental issue are important to you then pop in and have a chat and if they aren't pop in for a coffee and cake. There is plenty of ideas to take away with you and loads of literature to read about the issues they and hopefully you as a customer share..!
