Me and my partner visited this café on 10/02/2025. My beef and veg pastry was soggy and tasteless, the day after i was suffering with symptoms of light food poisoning.
Not been for a few weeks. New menu, normal breakfast cost around £35 to £37 now £47. English breakfast now comes with 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg, 1 hash brown. Cold pancakes, Coffee poor. Additional toast purchased did not arrive. The place was empty when normally busling. Somethings gone wrong, don't see it lasting long. The website picture shows 2 of everything, don't expect what you see. I will be speaking with trading standards.
A really friendly and welcoming cafe with a good range of hot and cold food and drinks. They serve cakes , lunches and snacks. I had the Victoria sponge cake and got a good size slice which was moist and delicious. There's plenty of seating and the cafe is clean and well presented.
