I love the interior and the atmosphere. There is more privacy and attention to detail. The coffee is good, but it's almost the only place where you can find a matcha (matcha latte, because they don't make matcha tea). There is a lack of simple savoury breakfast items, as the food is only restaurant-style, but hopefully this will change❤️
The best Chai latte I've ever had. Perfect temperature, perfectly made and tasted amazing! The atmosphere and vibe of the cafe is beautiful and would be a great place to come and do some work as there are plenty of plug sockets. I didn't get to try any food because the kitchen closes at 2.30pm I believe, but it's probably very good. Staff are also really nice and friendly and will bring your drink over to you if you are having it in. Definitely going to come back here! Highly recommend!
Excellent vibes, terrific coffee, great food. What's more, the service is good - the staff are warm and welcoming. The menu is interesting without being overwhelming. I've not been to one of the musical performances that they apparently host, but it sure seems like a good venue to host a small, intimate musical evening. The one sticking point was the slightly sticky tables (I tried two of them), reminding one of a round-the-corner greasy spoon, but that apart, Charlie & Ginger is super cool.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Lovely place for a breakfast or brunch. Nice and clean. Worth noting: 1) it is on the high-end when it comes to prices 2) cappuccino is not very frothy so it’s more like a caffellatte of flat white. Dogs welcomed.
By far one of the best Cafes I’ve been to. Service is top notch. The team is extremely accommodating. The tomato soup is definitely worth a try (multiple times if you can). The Mezze bowl too is the yummiest I’ve had. Great quality and quantity. Decor and ambience is lovely. Got a lot of work done in a quiet corner. Will definitely come back every time I’m in Leatherhead. Travelled from Bournemouth for work and was worried I wouldn’t find a place to rest and work until I had to return. Great place overall!! The toilet too are beautiful and clean⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Took away a Brownie which was amazing as well!
Coffee is really good. Their V60 was particularly delicious. The avo toast, halloumi and poachies were as beautifully presented as I've ever seen.
Great coffee, I had a delicious bowl of peanut butter overnight oats as well. Cool decor and music, excellent toilets!!
