I had been out for a walk. Decided to stop here for tea and cake. Friendly staff. Nice selection of coffees. Quick service.
We went there just for a coffee but ended up having cakes too as they were very inviting. The lady at the counter is very sweet and service was fast too. Definitely a place to come back to again.
Every visit to Handley’s is like a little moment of calm and kindness in my day. I had the 5 a day smoothie (again!) — it’s my favourite and never disappoints. Fresh, delicious, and just the pick-me-up I needed. What really makes Handley’s special, though, is the wonderful team behind the counter. The ladies are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming — it feels more like popping in to see friends than just grabbing a drink. Highly recommend if you're in need of a smile and something yummy!
Always a great place for excellent coffee and delicious food. Service incredible and always with a smile. We also hired the place for a private function. Hannah could not have been more helpful and met all requirements and more. It was a great success.
My first time in this Cafe for breakfast a few weeks ago but unfortunately it was not as good as I'd hoped. Wrong food served, replacement came cold and sorry looking. Finally got the waitress to come over, she apologised and offered a refund or gratuities but by this point I just wanted to leave. Shame as would have liked to support a local business.

Great little independent cafe with decent coffee and tasty pastries. They even do vegan options. Lovely decor too. Staff are friendly. Reasonably priced as well.
Best pot of tea! Food was amazing, really quick and friendly service. Decor was very pleasing and a feast of freshly baked cakes on view that I managed to resist on this occasion. Will definitely be going back.
