Popped in here for late breakfast and a cuppa with my partner. We both got a fry up and really enjoyed it. It wasn't greasy and the portion size was perfect. Decent tea too. I thought it was well priced. Staff were polite and friendly. Would come back again. Thank you : )
Fantastic place for dinner , lunch or tea . Friendly staff very welcoming and fantastic variety of menu. Plenty of drinks available. Would highly recommend .
Went in at 2pm today ( Sam’s closes at 3 ) with my 12 year old son for a treat. Very friendly service and just the right sort of greasy spoon ( in the right way ) cafe food that we’d hoped for. Son had bacon and huge portion of chips , I had eggs , fried slice , sausages and beans and a mug of tea. Perfect .
Terrible customer service, unclear pricing. I ordered Sausage, Eggs and Beans on Toast - business has listed the toast priced separately from the other ingredients and the man serving was rude and abrupt. I walked out without eating here because he treated me like I am stupid. Avoid this cafe!! Visit one of the other local businesses instead.
This is the worst and most oil soaked breakfast I’ve eaten. Came here as beefeater was closed and the food tasted of one thing - oil. No wonder the place is empty
Great English breakfast & good coffee
Rubbish coffee. Felt unwelcome. Overpriced for the service and quality of beverages served. Asked to leave before closing Time. Not even an enticing shop front. Wr thoughy as we were in the area yi support a small cafe but very much disappointed. Don't go there!!
Large portions of reasonable food. Unfortunately the tea was lukewarm and stewed.
Food is always very good the family I've known for a number of years and had a shop opposite Sam's Cafe and always felt their food was great Mark
Here on a regular basis due to breaks in work. Staff are brilliant, know all the regulars by name. Always asks how your day is going. Food is yummy and fast! Thanks Sam and Oscar!
