Don't expect a law firm that specialises in equity release to make mistakes. They sent me a Provisional Completion Statement with breakdown of fees but missed off £500 for the lender's Application fee. Only found out when £500 less was paid into my bank. Never received an apology & passed blame on to the lender's Solicitors. They are based in Wales & the Solicitor they send out to you is based in the North of England. Most of the time the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Very Stressful experience yet they state on their phone message that they offer a stress-free experience. Ha ha ha. Would not recommend. Contacted my Home Insurers to add Equity Release Lender's to the policy (as told to do by Solicitor) & they charged me £41.44 additional fee for the year, as no longer home owner but have a mortgage (was told by Solicitor that this would not add charges to my policy). So costly mistake on their part again!!!
