Nicei hot food prepared fresh on the premises. Can eat inside on table or outside weather permitting . Lots parking space .
Lovely food, helpful staff. You can sit outside with a terrific view of planes, helicopters taking off and landing. I regularly take the children I look after here. Not always to the cafe as their prices are ridiculously high!
We’ve been in the winter, where the best place to sit is inside by the fire; Spring, where the conservatory is nice, and now outside in the summer. My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.
We returned here after a 30 year break. It used to be a Friday lunch break for our girls when they were small. What a great improvement! Sheltered tables on the terrace and also inside within sight of the runway and parked planes. Proper food and delicious cakes as well as the snacks kids would hoover up. The broccoli spinach and ricotta quiche was hot and tasty and served with freshly fried chips and a small crisp salad.
Service was brilliant and staff were extremely kind, a great view of aircraft taxiing, taking off and landing. The Aerodrome was quite busy with aircraft and even at the height of the day parking wasn’t an issue. All around this place was really enjoyable to visit and would have to come again sometime soon.
I proposed to my Girlfriend on 12.10.22 in the garden of the cafe. The owner and staff were extremely helpful in reserving a table and offering me assistance, a staff member kindly videoed and took pictures as it was unfolding. I highly recommend the cafe.
Another great visit with grandson. He loves it here, nice food in cafe and easy to watch small planes and helicopters.
Very nice lunch with a view of the aerodrome airfield and lots of action going on outside. If you don't mind helicopters flying about and landing while enjoying lunch. Food was good and amazing helpful staff, making a birthday lunch, Very special and a unusual setting.
Food is delicious, staff very friendly and helpful as went with kids and they brought out coloring stuff for them... Will def come again...
An amazing, new cafe with a view of the airfield. There is a touch of class, the food is delicious and has elements of Michelin star cooking. We had the mouth watering fish finger burger and the deserts!! OMG! The brownies and pistachio cake are epic! An amazing find with a peaceful environment.
