   From initial call to Simon, I was completely at ease with the way he explained what was wrong with the clutch on our works van As a small family business we rely on our vans being on the road , with this in mind Simon assured us that he would make it a priority to have the van done within a day. I must say we haven’t had this experience in the past The van was dropped off at 4.45 Friday and completed on Monday afternoon now that’s a service which we as a company can relate to , price and service was excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon and is team in the future From L&W heating

   I recently took my car to this garage for a clutch replacement, having chosen them based on their excellent Google reviews. After visiting their website and submitting an online enquiry form, I received a call back within the hour. We had a brief but informative discussion to confirm that a clutch replacement was indeed necessary. Their pricing was competitive, so I proceeded to book the car in. The initial booking was for a Thursday, with an estimated completion by Friday, depending on the arrival of the part. Unfortunately, the part arrived late from Mazda, which meant the garage needed to keep the car for an extra day. Despite this, it was clear they worked diligently to complete the job by the end of Saturday. The professionalism and expertise of the mechanics were evident, and I felt confident the work had been carried out to a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this garage for any future work that my local garage is unable to handle.

   Had a clutch and flywheel replacement done here in the last few weeks, absolutely amazing service, very reasonable prices, and honest. My car didn't leave until it was absolutely perfect. Showed them my MOT report from a main dealer and they checked over all the bits to tell me what actually needed to be done and what wasn't necessary. Will be using them for all of my car repairs in future, 100% recommend, great bunch of guys, very happy with the work they've done.

   Our Van broke down 2 days before we were due to move house, it couldn't of been worse timing, the starter motor failed. Simon squeezed us in and got us moving again in a few hours due to our situation and he was much cheaper than ridiculous prices we were being quoted online by National companies.    I have used Simon for car repairs over a couple of years now. He is brilliant and incredibly helpful and polite. I’ve had loads of issues with three of my cars over time and he’s always been able to fix . I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I’ve recommended him to my sons and my friends and partner who also now go to him. Very highly recommended.

   We decided to drive down to Warrington for the Bank Holiday with our Son to visit my fiancé's parents. On the way down, our Ford S Max went into "limp mode" and we had previously been advised by a garage in Edinburgh (where we live) that this was happening due to the DPF filter (which we had re-genned prior to travelling). We reached out to Carmandoes and Simon was nothing short of first class. In under 5 minutes Simon had diagnosed the real mechanical issue causing our car problems - the ERG intercooler turbo boost hose pipe had a hole in it and THIS was causing our issues. Simon's colleague duly telephoned Ford Re. Ordering this part and informed us that Ford would do this for £480 plus VAT. Simon advised this was ridiculous and, instead, very nobly found the exact part we required from a store on eBay (brand new) for £13.99 plus free delivery. Simon demonstrated how the pipe could be unclipped (using fairy liquid to help remove it) and added we would be able to fit the part ourselves when it arrived. We asked Simon how much we owed him and he did not want anything! £0. We were so grateful for Simon's willingness to help and unrivalled expertise. Previously, garages had quoted us upwards of £300 to clean the DPF (which would not have resolved anything) and I am guessing they would have charged us the full £480 plus vat for the part we needed. Thank you so much Simon, you're a true Gent and stellar businessman. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Carmandoes to anyone with a vehicle! From Madison and Peter
