    After having issues with a battery and being fobbed off by battery retailer telling me the battery just needed a deep charge Gary came and did checks on my driveway. After 10 minutes Gary confirmed the battery needs replacing and that the alternator was fine. Gary wouldn’t take any money from me and went happily on his way to his next job. Very nice chap. Arrived when he said he would. Will definitely be using again

    Gary arrived on time and got on with the job, he did a great job of replacing my card disc's and pad. The drive was left clean and tidy when he had finished. The price charged was very good value when compared to other quotes I had received. All in all a good service was provided by Gary and I would recommend him to anybody looking for work to be done on there car.

    Fitted a car stereo for my friend this morning. Had quoted £80 to fit the speakers as well as the car radio. Not only did he not fit the speaker, he did not properly nor professionally install the car stereo, he even cut a part of the facia off to make it fit, because he couldn't be bothered to do it properly! She is a vulnerable single parent and this is her first car, so was not confident in questioning him about this. He still charged her £80 for this quite frankly shoddy work! Once rang and pulled on what he had done, he did fully refund her, his excuse being 'she said it was okay'! The car has since been checked by halfords, who have said not only is this shockingly unprofessional work, but actually a fire safety risk, and illegal! Would not recommend to anyone, and will be making a report to trade and standards.

    I have been using G S AUTOS for a few years now and I have been very satisfied with the service Gary gives. Gary is honest, reliable and extremely hard working, he's got my trusty Volvo V50 1.6 D DRIVE back on the road a couple of times. He sorted out a diesel fuel injector problem for me a few years ago and I've been using him ever since. He got me going again quickly at a very reasonable cost. The fuel injector is still working perfectly 3 years later. He's back today to replace the alternator, battery and belt, he arrived around 8:30 am and by 11:30 he had got the parts and is fitting them as I write this review. One of the great things about this is that I can continue working whilst Gary sorts out the car and I'm confident he will do his usual amazing job. Gary also does my annual service and MOT, he takes the car to a local garage. Thanks Gary! Sorry it's taken so long to write this review
