Communication was excellent and even after the legal work finished, Mark checked in to make sure sure everything had gone to plan.    Genuinely breaking the mould when it comes to legal services, the team at Mr Finch are refreshing and effective. If you're looking for some straight forward advice delivered in a very easy to understand way then this is the law firm to choose. As a small business owner I wanted to find a solicitor I could have a normal conversation with without worrying about how much it would cost me just to establish if I needed them or not, or if I'd be able to understand what I was being told. I really appreciated the down to earth style of both Mark and Greg, and it didn't take long to feel like I could open up about my concerns. As my business is growing and we're taking on more projects and more diverse clients I had started to worry about whether we had the things in place to protect my business, my partners and my employees. The team at Mr Finch made some suggestions about the kind of things I'd need and they reviewed things I already had in place. Imagine my surprise when they confirmed that some things - our confidentiality agreement for example - are perfectly fine and fit for purpose. I didn't need a new confidentiality agreement so they didn't try to sell me one. Not your traditional law firm, for sure! I'd always worried how to lay out my terms of business and had shied away from getting all 'legal' with my clients. The team at Mr Finch helped me develop terms and conditions for new projects that I feel comfortable using with my clients, giving me great peace of mind that my interests are protected and that I've communicated clear terms in a fair and understandable way before we start any new work. I'm already seeing the benefit of this with an increase in prompt payments from previously slow payers. In terms of fees, I had no surprises. Mark explained what was involved in the work they would do for me and how much it would cost. We agreed that upfront and that was the price I paid. I really liked the transparency of the pricing, and having settled on the price upfront I knew I could ask questions and check my understanding without fear of clocking up a bigger bill or overspending my budget. All in all, a great service delivered in a very human way. Highly recommended.
