   Great place to relax during your visit to Hampton Court. This cafe is vary spacious and can allocate a lot of people. It provides great variety of hot meals (mainly traditionally British cuisine) , snacks and deserts. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee on a warm sunny day.

   Tiltyard Café, England Tiltyard Café is an excellent spot to relax during a visit to Hampton Court Palace. I went there on a Saturday, a busy day with plenty of visitors, but the café had ample seating to accommodate everyone comfortably. Despite the crowd, it never felt overcrowded, and finding a place to sit was easy. The atmosphere in the café is warm and welcoming, with simple yet elegant décor that provides a calm and relaxing vibe after exploring the vast palace grounds. The menu offers a variety of options, from light snacks to hearty meals. The freshly baked pastries and aromatic coffee are definite highlights that shouldn’t be missed. Even during the weekend rush, the staff were efficient and friendly, ensuring quick service without compromising on quality. This attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable.    Popped into this cafe for a late lunch after a wander around the palace. The place had a nice ambience and the staff were polite and helpful. The food was okay but a bit overpriced, and the portions could have been bigger. I had the lasagne with seasonal vegetables and new potatoes.

   Great to find vegan options among the hot meals. I enjoyed the tagine (with coconut-based cheese), green beans/cabbage and potato wedges. The far serving area opens at 11:30 a.m., which relieves pressure on the main coffee bar area. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors.

   We have been to the Tiltyard Cafe at Hampton Court many times over the years -- it is pleasant place to sit outside on a sunny day. The quality of the food has varied, on occasions in the past it has been excellent. However, we have found the current caterers to be very disappointing. On our most recent visit we had a tomato soup which was tasteless, luke warm, and full of rice (with no evidence of any tomato), together with a chunk of bread which was completely stale. Not recommended at the moment.

   Enjoyed the sandwich but chips were overcooked, food, we felt, was overpriced. Better signage needed re the menu so you knew what you wanted to order before you got up to the counter and had to ask, would therefore save time. The Palace was great and the ghost trail fantastic..
