   Gem of a cafe serving well cooked & well presented food at a very reasonable price. Great quality too. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, quick service. Will be my go-to cafe whenever I’m in Richmond. A great find!

   This is a busy, traditional English breakfast café in the heart of Richmond. They offer a wide range of breakfast options, and the food definitely has that classic local flavour — slightly on the oily side, as you’d expect from a proper English fry-up. I ordered the Full English Breakfast, and you can choose between a sunny-side-up egg or scrambled eggs. The bacon and sausage were nicely cooked and not too salty, which I appreciated. One important thing to note: the café is cash-only, so make sure you bring enough money with you.

   We found this cafe quite by chance having also found by chance a wickedly expensive parking spot on Richmond Green. Cash only caused a moment or two of panic, but once we realised we had enough of the readies I ordered two baguettes, salads, coffee, and absolutely delicious little filo pastries stuffed with lemon cream. Really pleasant and helpful staff brought the food to our table outside,fed the dogs with sausages , and looked after us well. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and it was prepared and served with a smile. We bought four more of the little pastries stuffed with coffee cream to take to our family. Excellent.
