Ste at Bold St Garage is always busy, and for good reason. He’s honest, hardworking, and handles a variety of jobs with skill and integrity. I’ve never felt judged or unfairly quoted, and every job is carried out with great attention to detail. Ste even took on the daunting task of fixing up a vintage Nissan Micra, handling it with no complaints and delivering excellent results. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled garage, I can’t recommend Bold St Garage enough.
Visited with an Alfa Romeo Mito for an MOT and repairs. Steve was brilliantly transparent and professional, especially good with communicating regularly. My car had some electronic faults that couldn't be cleared and Steve advised I went to an auto-electrician for this as the car likely needed some wiring repairs. In all honesty, I didn't know they existed before - an absolute essential for any Italian car owner! I'll always respect someone who gives helpful advice for a reasonable solution rather than trying to replace the whole part (which is what I'd been advised when similar issue came up before). Will definitely be returning for maintenance work.
I have massive trust issues when it comes to finding a reliable garage due to past experiences so this garage is a god send to me. I don’t think I would ever go anywhere else and I would have no issues recommending, with confidence, this garage to anyone. The first impression of the garage was the organisation and presentation , which isn’t always the most important but, it just shows the level of pride and professionalism Stephen has for the business. I would say you would be hard pushed to find a better garage in Widnes. Everything is explained clearly and in detail and Stephen goes the extra mile to complete the work to a high standard even sourcing parts for my own car which no longer trades in this country so that was a time consuming task. Came in for a couple of part worn tyres and Ste sorted me out no problem they were basically brand new at a really good price would recommend

Having been impressed by their work before, I took my BMW Z4 in for some body repairs last week and the guys were great. The damage was in a tricky area but it was no problem for them and the repair looks fantastic. Will continue to use and recommend to friends/family in future. Great service, thanks again.
Driving home from work one day on the m62 and out of nowhere while travelling at 70mph a piece of debris from a van came flying at my car, luckily for me it hit where it did and not my windscreen. Needless to say i was pretty annoyed as it was no fault of my own and i knew it would be costly to fix. My dad knew somebody who knew somebody who could fix it for cheap @ £210. i had it arranged with this man 4 times, after the fourth time of him cancelling i went to get more quotes! i just wanted it doing - it had been driving me mad looking at my car like that! I had quotes off Ford for £1000, i also got other quotes from garages around Widnes for £700 and £640. By chance i came across Bold Street garage as i remembered that down where they are based where 'cars places' to get things fixed. (i'm useless when it comes to knowledge of cars and parts) I am so happy that i drove down that road that day! From the moment of going in to walking out with my car fixed the whole experience was very pleasant. Steve was lovely from me enquiring to dropping off and picking up. I really couldn't recommend Bold Street enough! Steve quoted me more than my original cost but less than the higher two, but more importantly he filled me with confidence unlike all the other places! I actually think the price was very reasonable considering how good of a job they did! I'd say i got a bargain! I enquired on the Friday, the car went in on the Monday and i had it back on the Wednesday! They did well to fit me in as they looked very busy! I am over the moon with the job that Bold Street did! As you can see on the pictures the car looks brand knew! Thanks for doing a great job! I will defiantly but recommend you to me friends and family! Cheers Becky
