I found Rushworths were very efficient Service and MOT in under 2hrs. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful when I made further enquiries. I would definitely recommend them as the price was very reasonable.
Rushworths fitted me in at very short notice for my MOT. I also noticed I had a problem with my washers and they sorted that out free of charge as it was a simple fix. This is a garage you can trust and rely upon to offer excellent service and value

Used Rushworths for 14 years, happily, for both of our cars, spending many thousands on repairs,MOT's, Service & repairs.I believe they've changed Management. Last week put my wife's car in as it started cutting out,with engine light coming on. They said they'd diagnose & try to fix it & if it was ok, MOT & Service it. Told problem was fixed(fuel pump replaced)so instructed them to MOT & Service,New Brake pads,2 new tires, Bill £1100, paid.. Drove 3 miles & broke down,catastrophic failure, 3 hrs freezing on dark/dangerous bend, near misses so phoned police,waiting for RAC.Towed back & parked outside Rushworths as they'd shut.Told unfixable, so scrapped.Asked if they could at least do something about the new tyres(6 miles on them)they said they'd look at what they could do & phone me back, but didn't, asked again on Monday & they didn't call me back.. The reply by Rushworths says they advised re timing belt. This is deliberately misleading, as this was buried in the service report & not actually spoken to us, they just said it was fixed & running fine. The engine warning light came on as soon as I started the car, when I picked it up from the garage, so it was still faulty, but I thought that they hadn't switched the warning light off after the repair(as has happened before). They don't explain why they didn't call me back re tyres, despite twice promising to, either. To ignore me, after failing us, is the main reason I decided to write this review. Scrambling round for a new car now & have completely wasted £1100.. Merry Christmas.. We won't be back..
Great garage to do business with let's you know the price of all work up front
I highly recommend this workshop. I have used it for many years, but now there is definitely an increase in the level of service offered since Mike and Victoria took over. They are always knowledgeable and helpful. They always diagnose the problem correctly and restore the car to full working order. I feel it's important for them to provide a first class service whilst avoiding unnecessary costs for the customer. It's quite unusual but they are definitely very good and that deserves most of the credit. I can't imagine giving my car to anyone else but Mike and Victoria.
