   Smugglers is an absolute delight! I’m always greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy ambiance and music makes it the perfect place to relax or get some work done. The coffee was exceptional and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. They also offer a great selection of pastries and snacks, all fresh and delicious and most importantly for me - many vegan/vegetarian options. Whether you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix, a cozy spot to catch up with friends, or a quiet corner to read a book, Smugglers is the place to go!

   Lovely little place for a brunch. Paid £15 for the Eggs Royale and it was delicious. Service took around 45 minutes to an hour but the results were surprising for such a small place. Drinks were a decent price too (£3.50 for a chai). The atmosphere was a cute seaside theme with limited seating but a cosy vibe.

   I had a wonderful experience here! I ordered one of their brunch specials: the hash with smashed avocado, poached eggs, and chilli jam. It was delicious as was the cappuccino I ordered! The pastries all looked so fresh and good I couldn't resist taking one with me for later. The atmosphere was welcoming, good for conversation or reading. Not only is the food excellent with very fair prices, the staff was terrific: efficient and friendly, with a sincere afffection for what they do! In the short while I was there, I saw many regulars come in and I certainly understand why! I look forward to going again too!

   Good coffee. Fab gluten-free brunch. Shabby chic vibe. Who’d have thought to see surfboards on a wall in a Putney coffee shop. If u r in London and missing the ocean, this will feed your soul a little. Fingers crossed for a seat, it’s a very popular place. Visited 3 times in one week which is high praise in itself.

   A little on the slow side. Took around 20 minutes for order to arrive which didn't make sense as the next table only ordered about 5 mins before mine arrived and yet arrived shortly after mine.

   I used to go in here from time to time and the coffee is always nice, too bad about the staff though. Sometimes they're friendly but if the owner/manager isn't there the staff look at you like they'd rather you weren't there. I went in on New Years day or around that time and 2 young girls and a boy were in there having a chat. They gave me a dirty look as I walked in and then one, very slowly walked behind the counter, no hello, no smile nothing. I walked out and haven't been back since. Not being funny but if that was my place I'd be livid. It's not like I ever see them that busy and there are 3 great coffee shops to pick from right beside them so no skin off my nose going to Grind, Bonjour Putney or Hudson's.

   Lovely decor but felt like customer is second Only wanted more milk in my coffee as there was a lot of foam and was told simply no! and if I wanted more I should buy another …. Incredibly shocked coming from the owner. I can only assume she is burnt out Shame

   The waiter was really rude and made me feel like I was bothering him by ordering. The place was noisy with the front door open so you could constantly hear cars going by, they did play nice classical music but it drowned in the traffic noise. The table and waterbottles were dirty. The lady in the back seemed nicer, she should really be the one dealing with customers. The avocado on toast was nice enough but the eggs were overcooked and had a weird texture and taste. Would not recommend unless you enjoy bad food with an unfriendly environment.

   Unfortunately not a very nice experience. The person at the till was very dismissive, he treated us like we were bothering him and was snooty about what I wanted to order. The food was also not nice. The eggs tasted odd and the sausage was far too sweet. The tables were sticky and the water bottle and glasses were dirty. To top it off food was on display right next to where customers sit, uncovered and un-refridgerated (there were salmon and cream cheese bagels). Would only recommend the avocado on toast.
