   I’ve been visiting this corner café for the last two years, waiting for it to improve — unfortunately, it hasn’t. The service is consistently unfriendly. Staff rarely smile, and it often feels like they’re doing customers a favour rather than simply doing their job. Basic politeness shouldn’t require extra effort from the customer. The music is unnecessarily loud since the renovation to the point where having a conversation or getting any work done is almost impossible. It completely ruins what could be a comfortable café atmosphere. After the recent renovation, prices have gone up again, and now they’re charging £0.50 just to warm up a pastry which is frankly ridiculous. Considering how much prices have already increased, this feels like nickel-and-diming loyal customers. I kept coming back hoping things would change, but they haven’t. Poor service, excessive noise, and unjustified extra charges make this café hard to recommend. The only reason I do return is because the coffee is the nicest in Morden

   Where would Morden be without it. Yes there are other cafe’s but nothing comes close to The Corner Cafe. The friendliness of the staff, the quality of the coffee never fails. It has proved to be consistent time after time. The ambience is light and airy with a mid century twist. The artisan pastries are fresh and extremely tempting. It’s just perfect.

   Went there for a quick bite on Saturday morning. As we were in front of the cafe and trying to decide where to eat, one of the shop assistants held the door open for us, which was a very nice gesture. Once we made our way to the counter, we were presnented with the sandwich and coffee choices. We proceeded to order a chicken, lettuce and mayo baguette and a ham and cheese sandwich. After the order, a ta le had just become available, even if it still had the used cups of the previous customers. However, the staff were very professional and as we were taking off our jackets, they cleaned the table and made it ready for us to use it. Each of our sandwiches came grilled and with a side of salad and crisps on a nicely presented plate. My fiancé also had a chai latte that she was very happy with. For each sandwich we paid £6 and a further £3.5 for the drink, which is very good value for London. Very nice little place and we'd definitely recommend it.

   Awesome spot to chill and enjoy some great coffee! Had an iced coffee earlier - perfect in this sun! Very friendly staff :) They offer a loyalty coffee card and a relaxing atmosphere to sit in or outside with your order. Very cute spot!
