Lovely space to sit on an autumnal morning. I see google says it’s closed Monday to Friday but here I am at 10.30am on a Thursday morning in early October drinking a cup of reasonably priced tea (£2.70) supplied in a recyclable cup and a bamboo spoon for swishing the tea bag etc. Sadly it’s a card only establishment (damning as far as I concerned) but if this doesn’t trouble you then this really is a lovely place to visit. With toilets available, friendly staff offering plenty of info when I asked and a fast enough service (I was the first customer) I’ve very much enjoyed my visit. Tables are filling up and it may well get much busier throughout the day but a being located in such a beautiful setting it is no surprise the place is popular

Google says it closes at 4pm, staff say it closes at 3 but start turning away customers from 2.45. Lots of sad children wanting ice cream!

We arrived at 11.30 am to grab a coffee as the other cafe was very busy. Sadly we were told we were "too early" even though the doors were open & staff were having a good chat. Ah well. Plenty more fish.

I’ve visited the Stableyard Café on a couple of sunny days this year and absolutely loved it! The environment is peaceful and charming, and the drinks are great. The coffee is reasonably priced, and I especially appreciate that they use recyclable cups—perfect for grabbing a drink and strolling around the park. Recycling bins are conveniently placed throughout the area too, which is a nice touch. The Jade ice cream served at the café is fantastic! I highly recommend the Sicilian lemon flavor—it’s my personal favorite. They even offer dog-friendly ice cream, which is such a thoughtful detail! There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available during the summer, and the toilet facilities are clean and easily accessible. Overall, I highly recommend the Stableyard Café for individuals, couples, families, and even your four-legged friends. It’s a lovely spot to relax and enjoy nature with a good coffee or treat in hand.

As NT members we’re used to unnecessarily long waits and over priced sausage rolls. But we do it to support the conservation efforts. The stableyard cafe did not disappoint - reassuringly slow, luke warm coffee and a lack of food choice despite beating the lunchtime rush. Would recommend purely because, like the NHS, it would be a sad day if they failed. Will return because we have family nearby and it’s a good location for a dog/pram walk.

The coffee is nice and so are the staff, but there have always been long wait times even when the queue is small. They are, however, adhering to social distancing, which is good to see. It's somewhat pricey, but some of the profits go towards helping to maintain the park. There is seating inside and out.

Considering this cafe is in a former stable yard they have done a brilliant job. This is mainly for snacks and coffees and teas. The surroundings are an original stable and very precious.
