This cafe should be outstanding but every visit is a disappointment. Service today was almost non existent. Orders finally taken then a gathering of folks at the end of the queue all waiting more than 15 mins for a simple black americano. No management in evidence at all, loads of people behind the counter but by the sounds of things orders were going missing or forgotten. The person ahead of me said their parking was running out and they had to leave. This cafe has never been run efficiently but today was a total disaster.

The ice cream kiosk is supposed to be open until 5pm during the summer, but it’s often closed earlier without notice. I came with my child at 4:35pm and was told it was already shut. Staff were unhelpful and said the hours “depend.” It’s disappointing, especially when other families were also hoping to buy ice cream. A lovely park cafe, but the service and lack of clear opening times really let it down.

Limited choice of food. Very basic and very expensive. I ordered a bacon bap and it was literally that. Not even butter inside! There is always a long queue to order/pay but it does move fairly fast. Buzzers are handed out to notify you when your hot food is ready. The tables outside were not cleaned regularly on the Tuesday I visited so we had to ask for a cloth to wipe it down ourselves. It will always be popular as it is the first café as soon as you enter via the car park but I do wish it wasn't so pricey and managed better. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

We eat here whenever we visit the National Trust Morden Hall Park. Definitely recommended.

We had a very nice lunch here on what was a busy day. Some food was sold out (at 1pm!), but we still had a fairly good choice. This cafe is somewhat better in terms of choice and service, than some of it's bigger stately home cousins, imho.

Very nice snack type food is served here. However, the day we visited wit was very busy due to half term and activities going on for the children. This is why I marked the cafe down for atmosphere and service.

Great place for a snack or light lunch. Has a baby changing facility in the disabled toilet and high chairs indoors. Staff are very friendly and even when busy, they are on top of everything. Coffee is very decent here too and though food options aren't that diverse, it's still a good offering. There are different times for breakfast and lunch, cut off is before and after 11:30am.

Very well organised. A fair selection food to choose from. Staff kind and polite and helpful. Gets busy as day goes on. Outside sitting area, plenty areas to sit inside. The ice cream is popular.

Slow service, food looked good on display but after eating you realise you paid over the top for below average food. Scones were dry and fell apart.
