   A Notting Hill Gem: Exceptional Coffee and Heavenly Treats ​If you find yourself wandering through the charming streets of Notting Hill, there is one spot you absolutely cannot miss: Mawi Coffee. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality. It is one of those rare places where you don’t just feel like a customer, but like a welcome guest in a friend’s home. We truly felt super comfortable throughout our entire visit. ​The highlights, without a doubt, were the baked goods. We had the pleasure of trying a variety, and each was more impressive than the last: ​Orange Cake: This was a standout—perfectly moist with a vibrant, citrusy zing that wasn't overly sweet. ​Apple Pie: It tasted like a nostalgic, homemade masterpiece with a crisp crust and beautifully spiced apples. ​Blueberry Muffin: Often a simple staple, but Mawi’s version was excellent—bursting with fresh berries and featuring a perfect crumb. ​To wash down these treats, we ordered a Coffee and a Matcha. The coffee was expertly brewed, boasting a rich, smooth profile that satisfied even the pickiest caffeine lovers in our group. The Matcha was equally impressive—vibrant green, silky in texture, and possessing that perfect balance of earthy and creamy notes that is so hard to find. ​The atmosphere at Mawi is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Whether you are looking for a quiet corner to relax or a friendly spot to catch up with friends on a first-name basis, this cafe delivers on every level. The combination of excellent food, delicious drinks, and a cozy vibe makes it a must-visit. ​We left with full stomachs and big smiles. If you are in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by Mawi Coffee—you won’t regret it!

   First time visiting this café. We were tired from traveling and looking for something cozy and delicious, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The coffee was flat and not very hot. The sandwiches were average and not very tasty. Although they heated the egg and avocado sandwich, it was still served cold. The décor of the shop was pleasing to the eye, but the chairs were not comfortable. The main reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is the staff—they were friendly and welcoming

   My sister and I went here twice during our 5 day trip to London. The banana bread and lemon bread are UNBELIEVABLE, as well as the Chai latte. This cafe is a great place to sit and read or take your coffee to go and stroll through Kensington Park which is right across the street. We loved this place!!!

   I stopped by with my wife a few days ago. I'd always been intrigued by the decor, but I'd never had the time to stop in until now. Really friendly service, great choice of drinks, and open later than most similar places, which is a real plus for us. Also, this may be a bit TMI but the toilet was modern, clean, and spacious enough to be comfortable for someone with mobility issues such as me. This is a massive plus in my books.

   At first it was the atmosphere that encouraged us to enter the cafe but when we ordered our coffee and carrot cake we fell in love even more. friendliness and cleanliness was a bonus to our experience. Also very baby friendly! We will be back ;)
