   Took my semi-auto Renault Clio to the guys at Thompson Automotive as it needed an MOT. Had my full service done and gearbox oil changed at the same time. The cars never driven so smoothly! Tried ringing for quotes elsewhere and couldn't believe my luck when Zak and the team quoted me what they did for such a big job. Reasonably priced, great communication throughout and got my car back same day. Definitely coming back. Would highly recommend!

   Should be 2 review from me really, forgot to do one the first time around. Zak and his team are the best around here, first time I used them was for a Timing belt renewal. They gave the best price in the area after calling a good few places. The work was carried out to a very high standard and left me in the knowledge I dont need to worry about the belt for a long time now. I again called upon Zak and his team a month or so later to carry out a handbrake cable renewal, which I had put off far to long, Again the updates throughout the day and reassurance that my car would be back on the road by end of play, Great work for such a labour intensive job. I can't recommend these guys enough and will be back for sure for all my services and MOTs when needed. Thanks

   Had my Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi in after it kept going into limp mode. These guys quickly found that the timing belt had been fitted one tooth out by a previous garage. They sorted it properly, double-checked everything, and the car’s been running perfectly ever since — no more limp mode or warning lights. Really professional and honest service. They took the time to explain what had gone wrong, didn’t overcharge, and kept me updated throughout. You can tell they actually care about getting it right, not just rushing jobs through. Highly recommend to anyone needing proper diagnostic work or timing belt jobs done right the first time. Top service and great communication — I’ll definitely be back for future work.

   Had a new clutch, flywheel and master cylinder fitted on my car by Zak and the lads. Car is now running great. The price was very reasonable compared to everywhere else.    I left my Astra in the hands of Thompson Automotive last month due to it needing a new Clutch. Zack installed the new Clutch, gave it a full service and had it back to me within 24 hours. The car has honestly never driven smoother!! Excellent service and I will definitely be coming back when needs be. Nice one!!

   My engine management light came on took it down to Zak at Thompson automotive and he put it on the diagnostics found the fault straight away then had a look over the car and found an intercooler pipe had a split in it, he ordered the part and my car was back on the road within 2 days. Can’t thank you enough for the fast and friendly service I’ll definitely be returning.
