   I’d be careful, I am certain that I got seriously ill with food poisoning after visiting. I came in recently and ordered a Grilled Chicken Pannini. The owner simply microwaved some chicken slices in bread, last time I checked grilled chicken isn’t microwaved. The taste was bland and not great, I knew I should’ve said something or not ate it, or went elsewhere, because worst of all the very next day, and now for the next 3 days I’ve had really bad food poisoning. The price, which was £6.50 was terribly high for such a terrible sandwich which had made me very sick. While yes the atmosphere, the owner and the community spirit of this place looks great, be careful with the food. And to the owner, take greater care and understand how to prepare and serve food in a proper and more hygienic manner.

   Proper little independent community cafe. Check out the original artwork by the owner on the walls (which he will eagerly tell you is available to buy!). Nice place to while away some time people watching out front or chatting to the owner inside.

   The owner is very welcoming here, great local independent café. They have a wide selection - I just had a fab chicken, pesto and oregano panini! Couple of tables outside, but venture inside to eat and drink within a lovingly appointed interior. 5 ⭐️

   This is the kind of local cafe you dream of - whilst the food is good (paninis, baked potatoes, omelettes, etc) and there's a wide variety of choices, it's the lovely owner that really makes this a firm favourite with the local community. Whatever you order, you're guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and a great reminder of why it's so important not to let the personality-free chains take over the high street.
