Google Maps says it is open by 4 pm but it is always closed at the weekends whenever we go there. This has not happened just once, we have it constantly.
Such a pleasant environment! Great view of the park, delicious muffin, wonderful staff. Ramp makes the place wheelchair accessible. They sell birdseed for the nearby pond. Very dog friendly without being intrusive.

Staff are very friendly, coffee is good. I always go here with children and its a nice place for them and for adults.
I have eaten here for many years, staff are friendly, a large selection of main meals, breakfast, teas, coffee, cakes as well as simple snacks. It also has a license bar with a good selection of wines and beers. There is seating outside on the Common.
