   It used to be really lovely place serving awesome food. Went down the hill! Prices increased, food became worse. Delicious sourdough bread was replaced with simple cheap toast, my friend got charged over £8 for toast and avocado. Didn’t even bother to put some salad on the plate. My salad wasn’t even washed with caked on mud just sitting on a plate. As soon as we raised a question - we were actually completely ignored. Staff cleaned every single table in cafe instead ours. We spent over 20 minutes with empty plates in front of us till we left. Truly disappointing experience after many years of truly nice service and food. Not worth a visit anymore.

   Not for me. Sorry! Eggs are very good quality but the rest didn't meet my expectations. Bacon tasted old, sauces are very, very acidy and same for avocado and smoothies are made from some kind of canned over sweeten fruits. American diner i guess... On the plus side the space is owesome. Plenty of seats spread around. May pop in for ice creams in the summer?

   Lovely setting. Good menu. Ordered the chicken and waffles and was very disappointed. Not only was the waffle very sweet, I was basically chewing on granulated sugar! All the white bits in the picture is sugar! Chicken was dry

   Excellent coffee and breakfast! We were staying at the archway premier inn, and found Barrys less than 5 mins away. Lovely breakfast before we headed back home.

   I visited here 30th June 2022. Amazing poached eggs, toast, avocado and coffee! Everything was excellent, good chat with the owner. When I’m back in London, I will certainly come back here, nice vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Can’t remember the business owner name, but like I said - definitely invest in birmingham! See you soon buddy.
