   17/05/23 Update: Hedgehog is closed! One of my favourite places for coffee is no more! Gutted... Staff always pleasant and helpful. Not as busy as the Starbucks a few doors down but arguably better coffee.

   I quite enjoy their chai latte. We ordered a hot chocolate and my son loved it! He was in for a treat. Sadly I have not seen the same barista lately. I haven't tasted their food.

   Popped into The Hedgehog yesterday with a couple of others for drinks and a 'sticky bun' (as my grandfather used to say!). Loved the proper mugs to drink our hot drinks out of and proper plates and knives for our treats. Comfortable seating and would very happily return and glad to support a coffee shop that isn't a large chain. Thank you for a very pleasant hour!

   Wonderful food, we ordered a week in advance for a group of 15 and it was all perfect, with delicious freshly bakes scones with jam and cream ready shortly after our arrival and an array of tasty sandwiches and toasties to suit every dietary requirement (including one who is gluten free).   Don’t miss this fabulous café.  It is a gem!

   They do large coffee cups which gets my vote! Great pastry and breakfast options. Nice vibe now as The Hedgehog. Nice staff. Shame google doesn’t show this place when you search for cafe - one of the better cafes in the area
