   We used Stratford Solicitors for our first house purchase, Erin Lee was assigned to us and she was fantastic throughout the whole process - we completed in only a few months. Communication was brilliant, she was really quick to answer all of our questions on email or over the phone (and we had quite a lot being first time buyers). Friends that have gone through the buying process with other solicitors always seem to be frustrated with the service - we had no such problem with Stratford and Erin, everything was a breeze and at a good price too. 100% recommend!

   Helen was our conveyancing solicitor for both our house sale and new purchase. She was very professional and helpful along the way. Helen also helped us with some tricky situations with the onward purchase and helped us understand the minefield that is the legal areas of buying a house. She was great at communicating with us and nothing was too much hassle. This made the process a lot more stress free than other experiences from different companies.    Stratford solicitors, particularly Alice Brown conveyancing services were superb. We were kept informed throughout, the process was speedy with no fuss whatsoever, every step was explained and what was required, and needed to complete it. We were able to get rid of the Help to Buy outstanding balance (after 4 years of being in our property) very quickly by transferring this over to a new mortgage product, once we had gotten all documents in place including the valuation. The whole process was flawless. Thank you.

   Overall I was pleased with the service provided for me buying my first house. There were a couple of delays and hiccups which felt unnecessary - they were sorted as quick as possible but I did question why they happened in the first place given that both parties had no chain. Helen was very helpful and good at coming back to me as promptly as she could. It would have been good to have heard more from them initially rather than it usually starting from my side - but comparing it to other peoples experiences with different solicitors, mine looked very decent! I would still recommend to use Stratford Solicitors.
