   This firm (via a guy called Luke Hewitt) acted for a house builder who I bought from. They served on my solicitor a Notice of Practical Completion which triggered transfer of monies but did so despite the fact that their client knew they had not obtained discharge of pre occupation planning conditions relating to remediation of contaminated land. They would not answer my lawyer's questions about outstanding conditions and preferred to hide behind a clause in the contract requiring their client to build in accordance with planning. The surface of the lawn was full of rubble and glass, so much so that the area has now been declared a risk to human health. Photo attached. Their client has now been ordered by the Council to dig up and replace nearly 2,000 tons of soil. Despite being asked some searching questions, this firm refuses to answer any questions on their conduct. Coward!! AVOID this guy at all costs

   My first experience when buying my first house nearly 10 years ago with JBGass was very good. However my more recent transactions with them have unfortunately been poor. The lack of communication and not being pro-active at all caused delays and I believe the delays could have been even more significant if I hadn't pushed for progress. As a customer, the feeling is that either the solicitor I was dealing with has too much workload on to provide a reasonable service, or that they don't care. I wouldn't recommend using if you want a decent turn-around.

   Generally I asked them to do a house transfer to my stepson and it took much longer than expected to say there was no mortgage and didn't really need searches as it was family, also got charged for information which I already knew until just before the transfer when it was too late really. All done on emails. Had used this company before for my will and that went very smoothly and quickly., but won't be using again.

I feel grateful for their professionalism and efficiency to deal with various legal paperworks during the long process. Their involvement was definitely a key factor to facilitate the process.    JBGass are a valued and regular supporter of the Animal Sanctuary in Wilmslow. Always appreciative of our work, they help to raise funds on our behalf as well as providing financial support for projects . They recently provided the funding to purchase a new Pig Arc to replace an old and dilapidated structure.    I used JBGass for my house purchase after a friend recommended them to me. As a first time buyer I had little knowledge about the house buying process, however everyone at JBGass and in particular Edward Bingham made the whole process seem less daunting. Communication was great and he was extremely helpful and quick to respond to my emails and answer any questions or queries I had. Their communications are always clear, concise, easy to understand and quick. It is clear they are investing in technology to make the conveyancing process easier for their clients which is great to see. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
