The wine was okay, the service by the serving assistants was fine but the main waitress was quite rude and unfriendly — especially when pressuring for mains when you already have 3-4 carafs and a planche. The atmosphere was really nice, so it can get better but definitely with improvements in staff and service.

Nice atmosphere inside, but pretty boring outside. Wine selection was varied, and some available by the glass. Food was too expensive, especially when looking for maybe one thing to share. Portions looked small while food smelled nice. Overall, many more restaurants that have much better food for the money. Atmosphere inside is nice, and would be good for a date. Outside was just default boring white walls. Just not worth it for the money. Also charged for water, but wasn’t told in advance.

Went for an early pre-ballet dinner and had a lovely time. Food was excellent and so was service, and it the restaurant had nice ambient music at a really good volume, could keep conversation without having to raise our voices!! Really nice spot.

They don’t open wine next to you, you get directly the glass without knowing what you actually got served. Selection of wine is really not good quality. Most of them are between 3.6 to 3.8. I’d expect some good wines from a whine bar, that’s one job

Couple of thoughts on: 1- The staff were very nice and friendly. 2- The atmosphere is very good 3- Price is also reasonable 4- As for the food, I talked to my friends and we all agreed that the food wasn’t that good. The fire went off a couple of times with the fondu. My friend was frustrated a bit. I had a steak and the other friend had duck: all food tasted like they didn’t have any salt. Perhaps; the fries were very bad. I expect that you don’t order a steak that comes with a very low quality fries. All in all, the place is very nice, the staff is friendly, there is, however, some rooms for improvement when it comes to cuisine quality.

Tabac Cafe is the best new addition to Exmouth Market! Excellent service, a warm environment, and great wine! A little piece of France in London, and a destination not to be missed by both locals and visitors. Best coffee in the morning too! Thank you to Mei & Andy for making me feel so welcome :)

Early morning stroll in Clerkenwell stopped by for a coffee and snacks. Perfect Croque Monsieur was cooked to order, served hot and delivered with a smile. We relished every mouthful of this great French brunch classic. Cosy atmosphere, very pleased with our choice.

Just found this gem in exmouth market! Apparently they just opened and we weren't disappointed :) AMAZING coffee and sweets, cheese toastie was perfection... If you ever pass by - make sure to pop in. Staff super friendly and I believe they're the owners, so they will make sure you're feeling like at home :) anyway - would recommend these guys, all the best to them!
