   We paid £44.99 for two Full English breakfasts (£31.00) and two fresh orange juices (£9.90). A 10% service charge (£4.09) was added automatically. For what we received, the price felt high and the experience didn’t justify the cost. The breakfasts were plain and not memorable, especially considering the high ratings that brought us in. We asked for the beans and tomato to be removed from one of the plates, but the items still came on the dish, which added to the sense that attention to detail was lacking. They also asked for a tip, which is unusual in the UK for a basic breakfast cafe, and combined with the service charge and high prices, it made the visit feel even less worthwhile. Overall, Cafe Plaka didn’t live up to the hype, and there are probably much better choices for breakfast in the King’s Cross area in both quality and value.

   Rainy morning, needed a warm friendly place for my wife & I with our Grandchildren. Fantastic cafe, staff so kind & helpful. My grandchildren felt so special, like the cafe was open just for them. Thank you. When we go back to London, we'll definitely return.

   My husband and I needed a quick breakfast near kings cross station, Google brought us here. It was a perfect last breakfast in the UK. Pancakes were amazing and “The Number 2” was just what we wanted! Service was super friendly and quick, coffees were tasty. Great experience overall.

   Friendly, clean and very well cooked for a English Breakfast Cafe! Surprisingly good so close to the hubbub of Kings Cross Train Station - i ordered a cheese and mushroom Omlette… nicely done, not dry, and chips some well. They also do soy milk

   This is a fabulous little independent cafe which is clean, very reasonably priced and welcoming. They were busy which is not surprising but still had time to look after every single person really well. I had a catch up meeting with a colleague over a delicious Eggs Florentine with bacon and smoked salmon because I couldn't make my mind up, so they said have 50/50. Delicious. Friendly service and I will definitely head back.

   We found it by accident and it was awesome! The service was very friendly! The food and home made drinks were also very good! We can recommend the Health and the Full English breakfast. We were there twice and the quality was the same! If we come again to London we will do our breakfast at Cafe Plaka! ☺️
