Mixed feelings here: one nice lady and another one complete opposite: aggressive and intolerant for a simple question of “do you do beers here as well “. Apologies to the nice lady but had to do this review for the other one
This is a poor value place with horrendous customer service. Ignorant and completely dismissive when the blonde waitress forgot to give me the croissant. Shame I paid for it as it was tasteless and pretty stale. Won’t be back for a cuppa.
The woman greeted me unsmiling today, too my order withiut caring and then immediately turned to her colleague (the barista, who was friendly, kinda) and complained about her job. No more interaction i could have been deqling with a robot. I was ignored . I took my coffee and it was good fortunately and I do love the environment. Such a crazy juxtaposition between beautiful space and horrid hospitality.
Contemporary, spacious interior with a relaxed and unpretentious vibe. Alcohol served. The usual configuration of coffee, pastries, and their kith and kin with an impressive vegan selection. Quality and portion faultless. Service was pleasant and efficient. Recommended.
Incredibly kind staff and efficient service. I have never been served as well anywhere in London. The coffee is Incredible, and their selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks is impressive for the theatre. Two young and friendly baristas helped me pick the best coffee for my very busy working day. And later a fine, and handsome gentleman who happened to be the bar manager presented their wine selection in great detail. I settled for their Incredible Sauvageonne Blanc. Overall, one of the best experiences in past few years anywhere in London. Their food is also very tasty and inclusive of dietary requirements. Their vegan sausage rolls are to DIE FOR. Weather you're looking for a nice cafe, working space or a chill bar this is your place.
There is a cake stall just outside the door.. How amazing is that. The wine selection is not bad and not silly prices either unlike at the Globe.
Really nice coffee from Caravan roasters! Speciality coffee with a nice atmosphere.
