Absolutely shocking service. Never ever using this garage again. They left my car in gear next to a wall - so as soon as it was switched on - it went straight into it. Additionally - the bumper repairs they carried out are poor to say the least with the bumper being completely out of alignment. Management haven't responded to any of my emails. Stay well away!

I had my car repaired at the Vella Group Bradford branch. From the moment my car arrived at their repair shop they were in constant contact and from the moment my insurance company gave them the go ahead they gave me a date when my car would be delivered back to me. I am an apprentice trained City and Guild’s qualified in motor body work (now retired) and I thought it impossible to complete the repair in the time quoted to a professional standard. How wrong I was I was kept updated on how the repair work was progressing it was delivered on time to a faultless professional finish. Full marks to the manager and the body shop repair team, I am unable to praise them enough.

Read the reviews after insurance arranged for my VW Tiguan to go here for repair after a non fault rear collision. Got to be honest wasn’t exactly confident based on some of the negative reviews! However on the whole it was a positive experience. I was contacted to arrange collection, friendly staff arrived on time, another call to go over plan and damage assessment on the same day. The only thing that let them down was no further updates were given after this at all. They claim to reply to emails, nope. Spent far too long on hold on the phone too in the hope of getting through, nope. Only way I knew work was going ahead, parts ordered etc etc was by going through my insurance for information which shouldn’t be the case when someone else is dealing with the car, common courtesy and professional service would be to reply to email requests for brief updates or just drop someone a quick update call… (in my opinion!) About 2 weeks later I was contacted to arrange drop off of car. Quality of work looks good, all issues have been rectified, letter says all work carried out on car is under guarantee and about a week later it’s driving well and looks good - so fingers crossed!

My insurance instructed Vella in Skem to repair my car following someone hitting me and driving off! I was worried because I had seen some bad reviews, but I needn’t have been. My Car was picked up, repairs were completed and the car dropped off exactly a week later, 3 days ahead of schedule. The repairs are great, it looks like a new car. It’s also been given a full clean inside and out. I was kept informed throughout of timescales, all the staff I spoke to were lovely. I’d recommend using Vella. I’ve added some before and after photos.

Collected my car for repair on 05/01/23 as unable to be driven. On arrival the driver takes photos all around your car in case of any damage already on your car, be warned they don't take photos of your front bumper. I asked the driver to be careful when loading the car, watched him through the window drive up and heard the bumpers hit the ramps on the lorry, I immediately went out and told him, his answer was "well that's what happens with these sports cars as they are lower to the floor" he then said "don't worry it will be repaired as long as you can prove it wasn't already done before", by this time I was absolutely fuming. Rang and spoke to admin staff who apologised and said my bumper would be repaired. On collecting my car on 18/02/23, had a quick look around and appeared ok. On further inspection over the next few days there was a very noticeable difference in colour between the front bumper and the rest of the car, the job sheet showed that for two damaged areas on the bumper that were each approximately 3 to 4 inches long possibly slightly longer, they had removed the complete bumper and sprayed the complete bumper in a completely different shade of blue so noticeable that Stevie Wonder could see it?? Despite numerous emails and telephone messages to them to contact me I have had no response, they need to rectify this fault as if there driver had more respect for peoples vehicles this would not have happened. They have now devalued my car and when I try to part ex this through a main dealer it will be noticed immediately and will result in me obtaining less money for my vehicle through their poor work. I did not want to use this company for my mechanical repairs but was forced to by my insurance company to obtain a courtesy car. Can't fault communication from admin staff whilst mechanical repairs were being undertaken and they were waiting for parts. Absolutely shocking service from them and rude to not even acknowledge emails and phone calls. Would give 0 stars if I could and I would never use this company again. Stay away from them.

Very poor Customer servive. No communication. All their phone lines are not answered. Message to leave voicemail but the inbox is full. My Insurance promised me a curtsey car. Its been 3 weeks . No sign of it from Vella Group.

Had our car repaired from Skelmersdale - I was a bit worried about some of the reviews but I have to say it was done to a very high standard, car was clean inside and out and the paintwork was a good match, all done in very quick time too. They called me with updates regularly. Overall i'm pretty impressed :)
