   Hottest evening of the year - think it was 31 degrees but their outdoor area under the grapevine was cool with a big fan blowing! Good range of pizzas - I had the white base with artichokes, walnuts and Gorgonzola. Very tasty and I liked the pizza crust which was just the right side of crispy. He had the folded pizza which was really good too. Nice genuine service.

   Best pizza in the UK, i went with my best friend which is a very good and experienced pizza chef, and my opinion right, this is probably the best pizza in the UK, with the best service. The Front of House staff were amazing, and attentive, the place was neat and clean, spot on, a very well deserved 5*

   Hidden gem inside Penge centre. Very cheap and scrumptious pizzas as main courses which have thin crust and medium size but compensate with the flavour and fresh dough. Very good service as well. One of those places that is very small with a big heart on the food they serve. We also had breakfast, where they serve all sorts of english breakfasts and i believe pancakes as well even tho when we ordered unfortunately they ran out. The full english breakfast was delightful. Used to not like hash browns, not sure if they made them there but they were good. Hopefully I will come back and go there again.

   Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.

   When I had an appetite I frequented The Maple Cafe. And tried almost everything on the menu plus all the Specials. My favourite was the Lamb chops and I requested roasted vegetables for variety. The Chicken dish was no longer available so I have yet to experience it.

   The owners are kind and there's a homey vibe (as cafes go). I had the homemade burger the other day which was tasty and their stew is real good. They also do great breakfast and omelettes.

   Great place to eat. The usual breakfasts and lots of other choice. Lovingly prepared. I like the real coffee, but often come with the kids and we are always well looked after. Often call, order and pick up on my way in to town. Very good portions. Keep coming back!
