   We came to Green Monkey for brunch on a Sunday morning. The food was great with excellent options for all dietary requirements! I had the avocado on toast and the potato hash and it was lovely. The staff were amazing and even gave us a free banana bread to try. Cant wait to come back! (Also had great music)

   What a delightful place!! The green Monkey serves high quality food which tastes delicious!!! The staff were attentive and amazing!!! A big thank you to Rusty, who owns the place. I went for the English breakfast and my daughter had the Turkish breakfast. Both delicious! The piece de la resistance was!!! Drum roll!! The French toast !!! Omg!! This was paradise to my taste buds!! Thank youuuuu!!! I will be back !!

   i ordered two meals. the french toast and the turkish breakfast. both were divine. my plate was wiped clean with the turkish breakfast. rusty is a great owner and manager and the hospitality of every worker here is wonderful. i thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would 110% recommend. (even their teas and coffees are delicious!!). thanks so much green monkey for having me and my mum for brunch ☺️

   The menu has something for everyone — there’s a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste, all delicious and very reasonably priced. The interior design of the place is also quite nice and welcoming. I had the şakşuka, and it was excellent. Their smoothies look amazing too, and the croissant I tried was soft and perfectly fresh. Overall, a great experience!

   Today was my first time trying out this cafe in Tooting but probably maybe my last time. I was quite disappointed by the oat milk flat white I ordered. The coffee was just full of foam and the appearance of it was just not appetising. Not that all coffee should have come with some sort of latte art but probably they could have done better than this. If I had ordered for takeaway, I might accept that look of the coffee but not for something I ordered for sit in. I was quite surprised that there was service charge even with a cup of coffee. To be frank, the coffee tastes average (better than it looks) but I probably would not come again as there are better coffee around the area.

   Great place, visited a couple of times, tried some food and coffee and all were very tasty. Friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. Pretty sure way busier over the weekend...so definitely recommend it if you are in Balham /closer to Tooting Bec area.

   Really attentive staff, cakes and coffee are are tasty and fresh. The Panatas are especially good. Would definitely return to try something from the main menu. Recommended.
