I am a self-confessed true-blue coffee aficionado. I walked in accidentally on a Sunday afternoon purely driven by proximity, for a takeout cuppa. This turned out to be the finest tasting blend of coffee I have had in London in a really long time. The aroma was quite a draw and all of those that I spoke to whilst sipping my takeout never failed to ask as to where I got it from - quality that speaks for itself! Shout out to the barista who was super friendly and knowledgeable on the origins of the coffee beans.

This is a cute little spot. Good for intimate little catch ups or solo spots to get your laptop out and do some work. The pastries are dangerously delicious, especially the cinnamon buns. Last time I went, I tried the Dark hot chocolate and fell in love ❤️. Gave 4 stars on the atmosphere only because the tables are quite close together, and my friend and I (both love a good chin wag) often feel that everyone around us are listening. This is now our once-a-month meet up spot. Defo recommend.

Lovely place for drinks, food, coffee and for catching up with friends and family. The atmosphere makes this a great dating spot. You could even get some work done during the day. The service feels a bit slower at times compared to what I’m used to and the prices are steep for me. I would recommend this place as a nice treat for someone or even yourself.

Me & my sister popped in for a light lunch today, I am a very fussy eater, Our server Cloe was so polite and didn’t mind explaining exactly what was in the sandwiches. I had the pesto and tomato on sourdough! It was delicious. Coffee is amazing. We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere at FILTR was great, the coffee (my oat milk latte) was very smooth and tasty, it is great sustainably sourced coffee. I tried their coconut matcha latte on another occasion and I think they do coffee the best (I felt their was not enough matcha itself in the drink, but this may be personal preference). Seating available inside and outside, which is great to sip your coffee when the sun is out! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, great customer service!

My second only ever chai latte, the first one I had here too from a recommendation from the friendly and well informed barista. A great space to meet, chill, plan or write your great novel. Super atmosphere and tempting pastries, cakes and a few light savoury treats.

Great and warm welcome from Kat (Barrister) as soon as I walked in, very friendly, warm and energetic. She made my drink to absolute perfection. I love this space and find it a calm place to study. So glad I have somewhere I can go too just round the corner with amazing coffee.

Super smooth coffee and the friendliest of staff. Make sure to try the almond topped pain au Chocolat; it's one of the best pastries I've had in ages!

This is exactly what Addiscombe has been crying out for. Delicious speciality coffee in a relaxed, inviting setting. Plus plenty of tasty sandwiches and tempting cakes. Now all we need is a decent wine bar…

Now that's what I call coffee! Ok, this place is now officially the best coffee shop on Lower Addiscombe Road, and it's made my day. Excellent choice of cakes and cookies too.
